A trio of vendor booths at our Feb. 6 Montana Wedding Event will appeal to couples who enjoy recreational pursuits.
Steve Lantz of Sports Cove Scuba will be at the Montana Bridal Event because so many newlyweds honeymoon in tropical resorts that offer a scuba diving discovery experience. If you think this is a sport you may enjoy for a lifetime, consider taking lessons beforehand, and getting lifetime certification. Then you can organize your own shore dives or take more exciting dives to greater depths, he advised.
In his diving certification courses in Bozeman, new divers learn more about equipment, procedures and safety in more controlled circumstances, so they enjoy their honeymoon experiences more too.
Many couples putting on a real Western affair with lots of out-of-state guests organize a guided group water outing, said general manager Katie Pidgeon. Group discounts, especially on tubing, can make the experience very affordable. And the on-premises restaurant can rustle up burgers, steaks and salmon dinners. The company offers adventures on the Yellowstone, Gallatin and Madison rivers.
iLoveKickboxing is one of Bozeman’s newest fitness centers, offering kick boxing/fitness workouts and classes. Owner Peter O’Reilly is coming to the Bridal Event to explain everything about this fun, fast way to get and stay fit. His clients range from teens to senior citizens, women and men. Some clients have joined specifically to slim down for a wedding and transformed their lives, he said.
Anyone with a good sense of balance can kickbox, and everyone gets lots of encouragement and instruction. “You always proceed at your own pace,” he emphasized, and beginners blend in with center regulars.
